Environmental Limits workshop: what do environmental limits mean in practice? - July 2008

A workshop on 'what do environmental limits mean in practice was held on the 3rd July 2008.

The workshop was targeted at the environmental, public sector and business communities. It related to the Environment Agency’s involvement in the SW great debates (http://www.swdebates.info/) – ‘ securing economic growth within environmental limits’ 

Research findings on the practical application of  environmental limits, involving the South West was be presented, details of which will appear on this website shortly.

 

25th June 2008

The last meeting of the South West Environmental Modelling Group concentrated on Flooding, Ecological & Renewable Energy Processes and was held on the 25th June 2008 in Plymouth.

A workshop on Environmental Limits and Sustainable Development in the South West was held on the 18th January 2008. This workshop looked at environmental limits in terms of the environmental view, business view and public sector view.
