Measuring national well-being   April 2011

What matters to you? Join the debate! www.ons.gov.uk/well-being and follw the debate on www.twitter.com/statisticsONS#ukwellbeing

Our country's progress cannot be measured by economic performance alone, which is why the Office for National Statitics is developing new measures of national well-being. These measures will provide a more complete picture of life in the UK, to meet a public and policy need.

The most reliable measures will concentrate on the things that matter most in people's lives, so we are asking people, organisations and business across the UK to tell us what is important to them and their sense of well-being.
