January 2012 Natural Economy & Localism: A summary of the Plenary is available HERE.  Andrew Simms from the new economic foundation emphasised this is the right time to be talking about the Green Economy. with recession and the banking crises we now face a unique opportunity to invest in the rewiring of the economy to low carbon. There are very good examples in Haringey and Birmingham  of councils which are adopting ambitious programmes for carbon reduction.
